FENTON, Mich.- On Tuesday, June 6, Rochester College Head Soccer Coach Todd Stank announced the signing of Desiree Quye.
Quye joins the Warriors after playing her high school soccer at Fenton High School under the guidance of Tiger's head coach Matt Sullivan. Quye led her team to a 2011 Flint Metro Conference championship and was a leader on and off the field.
Coach Stank on Quye:
"Desiree Quye from Fenton high school. Desiree brings a wonderful upbeat personality to the team. She has an excellent attitude and she truly enjoys playing soccer. She has a quickness to her movement which allows her to find dangerous areas on the field to exploit. She has played soccer at the club and varsity level and possesses an excellent knowledge of the game. Desiree showed an ease and awareness about her and she fit right in with the rest of our team the day she came to visit us. Desiree will add another attacking element to our arsenal, and we look forward to watching her continue to grow and mature as a player."
