ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.- On Monday, July 23, Rochester College Head Baseball Coach Jordan Ackerman announced the signing of Lawrance Love, Chad Soja, and Austin Suiter.

Love joins the Warriors after a stellar career at Fowlerville High School under head coach Karl Kling. After finishing the season with a .370 batting average and leading his team to a District Championship, Love was honored with First Team All CAAC and First Team All-Area honors up from his junior year when he was an Honorable Mention recipient for both honors.

Love also enjoyed much success on the football team earning First Team All-CAAC and Second Team All-Area honors.

Coach Ackerman on Love:

"Lawrance is an extremely talented athlete. I feel strong about him being a versatile player and stepping into several different roles for us as a freshman. He has been part of a successful high school program and he knows what it takes to win. His high school coach (Karl Kling) is a very knowledgeable coach and I know he will be ready for the college level."

Chad Soja also comes to the Warriors from Fowlerville High School. The speedy outfielder enjoyed a successful senior campaign batting .350, which helped him earn Honorable Mention All-CAAC honors. On the football field, Soja notched First Team All-CAAC honors in both his junior and senior seasons from the receiver position.

Coach Ackerman on Soja:

"Chad is a great addition to our outfield. He has a great arm and had several assists in high school. I am confident that Chad will come in and fight his way to the top. He has a bulldog attitude and will be at our returner's heels if he does not surpass them."

Austin Suiter makes his way to Rochester College after graduating from Start High School in Toledo, OH. The 6'1" outfielder earned Second Team All-Toledo honors under the guidance of Spartan Head Coach Jason Biniker.

Coach Ackerman on Suiter:

"I am excited to see what Austin will bring to the table this fall. He is a very hard worker and with some added weight in the weight room, he will be a force to reckon with. He is extremely driven and comes highly recommended by several coaches in the conference he competed in. "
