The Lady warriors, have changed their name to the Rochester College "Night Owls", because at 1:30 in the morning on May 9th, 2011 they stamped their ticket to the 2011 USCAA National Championship series.

In an extra inning affair, the Rochester College Warriors defeated Spalding University 5-4 on a dramatic bottom of the 9th sacrifice fly by Missy Roy that allowed Briana Serrato to score the winning run. Serrato was placed on 2nd base to start the inning in accordance with the international tie breaker rule. She advanced to third base on a perfectly placed sacrifice bunt by Courtney Dunlap, that set up the dramatic finish.

The championship series will be played today at 4:00 pm.
