Head men's and women's golf coach Clayton Bissett has announced the signing of 3 golfers to the 2011-2012 rosters.  Steven Turner has signed to the men's roster, while Abigail Paul and Danielle Godair will join the women's roster.
 
Turner is no stranger to Rochester College as both of his parents are professors in the mathmatics department. Steven's older brother Gary has been a member of the men's 2 USCAA National Championships and the two will join forces next season for the warriors quest for a 3rd straight Championship. Steven Turner will graduate this june from Avondale High School where he was the team captain for the last two seasons and was on the honor roll four times.
 
Abigail Paul comes to Rochester College from Charlotte, MI where she played on the girls golf team for Teresa Johnson at Charlotte High School. Abigail has excelled her entire career as a 3-time All Conference, All Academic honoree as well as being named team MVP three years straight. Abigail is the daughter of Robert and Wendy Paul.
 
Danielle Godair hails from South Lyon High School where she played for coach Dan Skatzka. Godair was a stand out athlete at South Lyon as a member of the softball, basketball, and golf teams. She garnered numerous post season honors in all three sports. As a freshman she was named to the all area honorable mention teams in both softball and golf. As a sophomore Danielle was named to the 1st team all area for softball and golf, as well as a KLAA scholar athlete. Her junior year saw the honors keep rolling in, as she was named 1st team all area in golf and softball. So far as a senior, she has earned All-State honorable mention in golf, as well as all area as a member of the basketball team. She has proven herself as a team leader, being named team captain for golf and softball. Danielle has appeared on the KLAA scholar athlete team as a sophomore and junior, and is expecting to be named scholar athlete this year when the awards are given out later this spring.
