ROCHESTER HILLS, MI - On Wednesday, July 13th, Rochester College head baseball coach Jordan Ackerman announced the signing of Andrew Baumgartner.

While in high school, Baumgartner led his team to two Tri-Valley conference championships. He also earned All-Conference honors in both is junior and senior seasons. He captained his team in his final two years of high school. Baumgartner also wrestled and ran cross country earning All-Conference honors in both sports respectively.

Coach Ackerman on Baumgartner:
"Andrew brings in some much needed experience to third base. With our returners David Ciciora and Ron Carter along with incoming freshman Austin Brunk, I can see a lot of competition taking place. Andrew is an excellent student and has proven himself at Muskegon Community College. He came in and worked out with us in the early summer. His hands are extremely fast and he will get in front of anything."
