ROCHESTER HILLS, MI- On Monday, August 8th, Rochester College head women's soccer coach Todd Stank announced the signing of Emily Mayer and Joanna Willis.

Mayer joins the Warrior roster after playing her prep career at Waterford Mott High School. Under Mott head coach Evan Baker, Mayer led her team in assists. She earned a scholar athlete award in 2008 as well as the Waterford Mott Corsair Award for her efforts on and off the field.

Coach Stank on Mayer:

"Emily joins the team this year with a great amount of playing experience. She played her high school ball at Waterford Mott and has played competitively for the Waterford Warrior Soccer Club. Emily is a fierce competitor who will provide us with another solid defensive player who is not afraid to go forward when needed."

Joanna Willis is a transfer from Calvin College. She played high school soccer for T.J. Ambrose at Haddon Heights High School in Haddon Heights, NJ. In her senior season, Willis led her team to a 14-5-1 record.

Coach Stank on Willis:

"Joanna is a sophomore transfer student from Calvin College. She played high school soccer in her home town in Hadden New Jersey. She is a forward who is quick, dedicated, and intelligent. She has a tremendous work rate and fits in well with the team. We think that Joanna's speed will provide another problem for our opponents to deal with."
