DEFIANCE, OHIO- It was a rainy day in Defiance, but that did not stop the Lady Warriors golf team as they went on to win the Yellow Jacket Fall Invitational. The Lady Warriors finished the match with a 386, 34 strokes better than the second place finishers.

Freshman Danielle Godair (New Hudson, MI/South Lyon) was the match medalist with a 94 followed closely by sophomore Audrie Bedenis (Davisburg, MI/Clarkston) and sophomore Felicia Hamel (Flat Rock, MI/Huron) who tied for second with a 95.

RC head golf coach Clayton Bissett was extremely happy with his team's performance. "I am so proud of these ladies today. The weather was awful and they did not let it bother them. They showed lots of mental toughness today and shot some very good scores on a pretty difficult course. I think I would have been happy with our scores on this course in good weather conditions. It is always nice when you can come home from a tournament with a few trophies."
