LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY- The Rochester College volleyball team makes a return back to the USCAA Nationals after a stellar 31-22 regular season. The Warriors will start pool play tomorrow (Thurs., Nov. 10th) at 11am against the Unversity of Cincinnati-Clermont. The Warriors defeated U of C Clermont earlier in the season 3-0. The Warriors will then take on Penn College at noon and tournament host, Spalding University at 3:30pm.

Head Coach David Crump feels great about his team's chances at this year's nationals. "Honestly, this is our best chance in the seven years I have been here. Our team is more solid than ever. If our girls execute, run fast and clean, we have the ability to beat anyone there. However, we are not over looking anyone."

"The best thing we can do is win our pool. In the past we have made the road to the championship as hard as possible. We will play one game at a time and worry about our side of the net. We will not let the other team dictate how we play the match."

The Warriors are coming off of a week off from games due to nationals being pushed back a week. "This extra week has allowed us to heal up. We are coming into the tournament healthy and prepared," said Coach Crump.

The top team in the tournament is the defending champions, Florida College. The Warriors have not played FC this season, but coach Crump has done his research. "Florida College is the team to beat. They have won the tournament six times in the past ten years. They are returning their whole team, and they are coached well," said Crump.

Also rounding out the top competition in the tournament is tournament host, Spalding University. The Warriors beat Spalding in five earlier in the season. "We played well against Spalding earlier in the year. They are a team that you must bring your best against to win."

Pool play will conclude on Friday and tournament play will begin at 2:00pm.
