Rochester Hills, Mich.- The Rochester College baseball team took a break from their studies yesterday (Dec. 14) to give back to the local community. The Warriors read stories to John Pleasant's (brother of Rochester College's Men's Basketball coach Klint Pleasant) fifth grade class at Brooklands Elementary.

"The community does so much for us, it is our responsibility and privilege to give back any opportunity we get," said head baseball coach Jordan Ackerman.

"Reading to the fifth graders each year is one of our favorite things to do. Our guys also talk to them about the Holidays and it is great to see the excitement on their faces. It is also great to promote reading to the young students."

The Warriors visit to Brooklands was the 2nd annual trip to engage young students in the thrill of reading.
