Rochester Hills, Mich.- The Warriors golf teams signed two recruits for this upcoming season. Both the men and women's teams landed a signee.
The men welcome Schoolcraft Community College transfer Adam Yarber to the program. Yarber, a native of Livonia, MI., played his high school golf at Winston Churchill in Livonia. While at Churchill, he lettered three times, was a top five scorer in 2009, and All-Conference in 2009. Yarber played under coach Cecil Woodruff at Schoolcraft, and competed in the MCCAA last fall.
Paige Gulyas will be on the links next fall for Rochester College's women's team. Gulyas, of Shelby Township, MI., played her high school golf at Eisenhower High School. While at Eisenhower, she was a three-sport athlete and earned three varsity letters. Gulyas was named most improved player on the golf team this past season and earned all-academic golf honors.
The men's team will be losing two seniors going into next season, but are looking strong to compete for the USCAA National title. They finished second last fall with a team of four underclassmen. The women will not lose anyone from last season and look to have a strong year.
