The Rochester College Warriors moved to 23-1 as they cruised past the Lincoln Christian University Red Lions 91-52 in the second game of the Association of Independent Institutions Classic in Gary, IN. The Warriors started off fast, opening an early 14-1 lead, and then clamped down on defense and only allowed the Red Lions 21 second half points.

RC scored the first points of the game and never looked back. LCU would pull within four points at 32-28 with four and a half minutes left in the opening stanza. The Warriors would then go on a small run to take a 41-31 lead into halftime. RC came out firing on all cylinders in the second half and played lock down defense. A 14-0 Warrior run would close the door and secure the win.
Jaylen Larry (Flint, Mich./Kalamazoo Valley CC) led the way for the Warriors with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Paris Pereira (Rochester Hills, Mich./Rochester HS) ended with 15 points and 4 assists. Andrew Kline (Clarkston, Mich./Our Lady of the Lakes HS) had one of his best games of the season as he tossed in 14 points, pulled down 7 rebounds and had 4 steals. Angelo Griffis (Kalamzoo, Mich./Ferris State University) and Cap Wilson (Davison, Mich./Goodrich HS) each ended with 9 points and Armand Cartwright (Bloomfield, Mich./Bloomfield HS) added 8 points.
The Warriors return home to take on Indiana University Northwest on Saturday, January 28th at 2pm at Rochester Adams HS. RC came away with a hard fought 99-85 win in the first meeting between the two teams.
