ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.—Rochester College head baseball coach Scott Kunert is pleased to announce the signing of Fenton High School standout, Jacob Henard.

Henard enjoyed great success as a Tiger under the guidance head coach Sean Lawrence.  During his time at Fenton, Henard earned himself three varsity letters for baseball and two for football.  As a sophomore on varsity, Henard had his best high school single game performance going 6-7 at the plate.

Henard also led the Tigers on the football field where he earned First Team All-League as a Defensive End and Linebacker.  In his last two seasons Jacob played a key role in leading FHS to the Flint Metro League conference championship.

Jacob, following his grandfather's footsteps, is excited about continuing his baseball career at the collegiate level.

"Jacob is going to add some much needed pop to our lineup and projects to be a middle of the order guy.  He is a very respectful young man and will fit great into our team mission.  I am looking forward to working with him during his time at Rochester." said Coach Kunert.
