ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.- On Monday, May 8th, Rochester College Head Basketball coach Klint Pleasant announced the signing of McBain High School (McBain, MI) senior stand out, Logan Eling.

Eling, a three year varsity player for the Ramblers, played a key role for one of the winningest high school basketball programs in the state of Michigan during his time. Through three years, Eling helped lead the Ramblers to a 69-4 record that included three conference championships, two district championships, two regional championships, and a berth to the 2016 Michigan Class C State Semi-Finals.

In his senior season, Eling was named a team captain and averaged 17.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.1 steals per game. His individual efforts led to all-conference, all- area, and Class C All State honors.

Logan played AAU basketball for HoopGrind (MI) and also excelled on the football field for the Ramblers, helping lead McBain to a 2015 district championship and was named to the All Area and All State teams while also being named MVP of the Highland Conference as Quarterback.

Coach Pleasant on Logan:

"What impresses me most about Logan is his winning attitude and his toughness. He was 47-2 throughout his junior and senior years and has been very well coached in high school. He understands the importance of playing hard and being tough. Specifically, he's quick with the ball, shoots it well, and seems to understand the value of being a good teammate. The mission of our institution and program resonates with him and that was important to us. We look forward to him joining our program."
