ROCHESTER HILLS Mich.—The Rochester College baseball head coach Scott Kunert's team added some strong bats to the offense by signing Ty Marasco and Anthony D'Alessandro to the 2017 roster.

Marasco is a two sport standout from Dakota High School in Macomb, MI.  As a Cougar, Marasco lettered two times, once for his work on the football field and another for his efforts on the ball diamond.

Not only does Marasco work hard on the field, he also works hard in the classroom and has been on the Honor Roll all four years.

Coach Kunert on Ty:
"I am very excited to get to work with Ty this fall. He is extremely hard working and competitive and comes from a great family. He will fit right in with our team culture. Ty is also a great student and I am ready to see him help out our team in all aspects."

D'Alessandro will be joining the Warriors after completing his senior year and graduating from Oxford High School.  D'Alessandro was also a two sport athlete, playing both baseball and football during his time as a Wildcat.

Anthony is the son of Dan and Annette D'Alessandro and has a sister named Malena.

Coach Kunert on Anthony:
"I can't wait to see what Anthony is going to bring to our program this fall. He is a contact hitter with a ton of speed and is a great defender in the outfield. He also comes from a tremendous family that shares the same values as our program. I am excited to see his development as a player and young man during his time here."
