ROCHESTER HILLS, MI- Rochester College Head Baseball Coach Scott Kunert announced on Sunday, May 14th, the signing of Allen Park High School senior Nicklaus Wayman.

Wayman joins the Warriors after a successful high school career where he not only lettered all four years but also earned All-League Academic honors each year. As a Jaguar, Wayman helped lead his team as they won the conference championship in 2015 and were district champs in 2015 and 2016. Wayman's most memorable moment under head coach Glenn Guliver came when he was the starting pitcher on opening day his freshman year on varsity. Another great memory is when he threw a complete game to beat ranked Woodhaven High School and handed them their only conference lose of the year.

Wayman also played a key role on the football field where he lettered twice and was an All- League Academic.

Nicklaus is the son of Robert and Denise Wayman and has a brother named Nathan.

"I think Nick is a guy who can be an immediate impact in our program. He comes from a good program at Allen Park that has brought us some talented players in recent years. I know he is having a good year and has pitched some incredible games so far and we are looking for him to keep it going this fall. Nick comes from a great family and I couldn't be more excited to work with him over the next four years." said coach Kunert.
