ROCHESTER HILLS, MICH.- The Lady Warriors add another recruit to the class of 2017 for this fall's soccer season. Mackenzie Curtis comes to Rochester College after a stand out career at Cousino High School in Warren, MI.

While under the coaching of Kelsie Brown at Cousino, Curtis was awarded with the Coaches Award at the end of her sophomore year. At the conclusion of the 2015 and 2016 season, Curtis was named to the MAC All County First Team.  During her time as a Patriot, Curtis lettered five times, three for soccer and two for basketball.

Not only was Curtis an outstanding athlete on the field, but was also a standout in the classroom as a student.  During her high school career, Curtis was part of NHS and was an Honor Roll student.

Mackenzie is the daughter of Brett and Nikki Curtis, and has a brother named Drew.

Coach Stank on Mackenzie:

"I am impressed with Mackenzie.  As a player she is a no-nonsense, get the job done, stay stuck-in type of player.  Efficient and uncompromising in her play and her expectations of her teammates.  She is calm and focused on the field, quickly reading the game and able to make adjustments at pace. Her addition to our roster will increase our depth at mid-field. She will be a strong addition to our roster and a great addition to the RC community."
