ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.-- Head Basketball Coach Klint Pleasant announced Blake Brown as the newest addition to the Warriors roster on Monday, June 12th.

The 6'7" forward joins Rochester College after two years with the men's basketball program at Eastern Michigan University.

At EMU, Brown appeared in 19 games off the bench during the 16-17 season and grabbed a career best 7 rebounds versus WHAC foe Marygrove College. Brown provided a great boost off the bench down the stretch for the Eagles. During the 15-16 season Brown appeared in 17 games. His best outing of the season came against Ball State, where he scored 4 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.

Blake prepped at nearby Novi High School where he averaged 9 points and 10 rebounds per game as a 4 year varsity letter winner. He was also named to the Academic Honor Roll at Novi all 4 years.

Coach Pleasant on Blake:

"Blake is a perfect fit for our program and mission.  He is extremely personable and will represent our institution with class.  Blake will bring a wealth of experience on the court coming from EMU and we will look to him for leadership.  We will count on his length, athleticism and motor on both ends of the floor.  He defends and rebounds very well and also scores around the basket.  We look forward to having him in our program; he will make us better."
