ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.—The Rochester College women's basketball coach Brent Wichtner is pleased to announce the signing of DI transfer Jessica Rotzoll.

Rotzoll played her high school career at University Liggett School in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI where she played on the varsity team all four years.  While playing under head coach Omar Ahart, Rotzoll lettered four times and played a key role for the Knights while helping lead them to four 20 win seasons in a row. During her time at Liggett, Rotzoll's team was four-time Conference and District Champions.  In 2012, 2014, and 2015 she helped take home the Regional Championship title and in 2012 made it all the way to the State Championship game.

Rotzoll averaged a double-double from her sophomore year to senior year.  In the 2014 regional final game against Brown City, Rotzoll had 18 points and 15 rebounds.  At the end of both her junior and senior seasons, Rotzoll was honored with being named BCAM 1st Team All State and Detroit News All State Honorable Mention.

After graduating in 2015, Rotzoll continued her basketball career at Oakland University. While she was a Golden Grizzly, Rotzoll was awarded All-Academic Horizon League player honors.

Jessica is the daughter of Gary and Linda Rotzoll and has a sister, Allison.

Coach Brent on Jess:

"First and foremost, Jess embodies the mission of the college. Jessica is as selfless as they come and what we want as a team player. She is an honor student as well. She will really be able to stretch defenses with her ability to shoot the 3 ball. Jess's motor is an intangible that we are excited about. I am excited to have Jess in our program for many years to come."
