ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.— Angelo Griffis has agreed to terms to join KFUM Nassjo Basket, a top division team in Nassjo, Sweden and becomes the third Warrior to sign a professional basketball contract this summer.

First Team All-Conference, and 2017 Third Team NAIA All-American after averaging 21.2 points per game, 7.9 rebounds per game and 3.0 assists per game. After helping the Warriors to a 29-3 record and a program best #4 national ranking in the NAIA coaches' poll, Griffis was named to the Bevo Francis Top 50 national players in the country.  The Bevo Francis Award is given to the best small college basketball player in the country and includes players from NCAA Division 2, NCAA Division 3 and NAIA.

"I am proud and grateful for all of Angelo's accomplishments during his time at RC. Angelo became a complete basketball player in his two years here and is very deserving of the opportunity to become a professional basketball player," Rochester College men's head basketball coach Klint Pleasant stated. "I am more proud of what Angelo has become off the floor. I am confident his lessons learned in our program will stick with him during the next chapter of his life. His work ethic and abilities will give him the chance to become a very successful professional basketball player."
