ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.-- The Rochester College Warriors notched their first win of the season Friday, August 25th, after defeating the Trailblazers of University of St. Francis with a final score of 2-0.

RC jumped out to an early 1-0 lead over the Trailblazers at the 41-minute mark of the first half.  The first goal was netted by senior midfielder, Christy Routheaux (East China, Mich./Marine City HS) with the help from fellow senior midfielder Krista Sabin (Sterling Heights, Mich./Henry Ford II HS). The Warriors added another goal at the 85-minute mark of the game from freshmen Hayley Rauser (Troy, Mich./Troy Athens HS), with the assist from Mackenzie Curtis (Warren, Mich./Cousino HS).  

Sophomore goalie, Cali Clemens (London, Ontario/John Paul II) earned her first shutout win for the 2017 season with seven saves.  With the outstanding effort in net, she has helped lead the Warriors to a 1-1 record on the year. 

The Lady Warriors will be back in action when they travel to play University of Maine-Fort Kent on Saturday, September 2 at 1:00 PM.
