ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.- The Rochester College Volleyball team went 2-1 this past weekend at the Penn State Beaver Tournament held on the campus of Penn State-Beaver. The tournament played host to Carlow University, Penn State-Greater Alleghany, Robert Morris-Springfield, Penn State-Fayette, University of Maine Fort Kent, Johnson and Wales University, Christendom and Penn State-Beaver.

The Lady Warriors opened tournament play against Penn State-Greater Allegheny and won 3-0 (25-8, 25-3, 25-12). Round two was a victory over Johnson and Wales, 3-0 (25-14, 25-8 25-16).  RC matched up against Carlow University in the semis, where they fell 1-3 (18-25, 25-20, 17-25, 29-31) bringing their record to 2-1 on the weekend and 3-8 on the season.

Leading the Warriors was junior Laura Willson (North Branch, MI/Central Michigan University) with 30 kills.  Senior setter Megan Juncaj (Roseville, Mich./Roseville H.S.) ended her weekend with 33 assists, and freshman Kaitlyn Williams (Kentwood, Mich./East Kentwood H.S.) lead RC with 30 digs.
