ROCHESTER HILLS, MI- On Tuesday, July 5th, Rochester College womens head soccer coach Todd Stank announced the signing of Faithway Christian High School graduate Jessica Fill.
Fill cracks the Lady Warrior's roster after playing under Lions head coach Eric Diehl. She earned two varsity letters while leading her team to a 2010 district championship.
Fill plays her club soccer for the Flint Steelers and the Michigan State Premier team.
Coach Stank is more than pleased about his new signing. "Jessica comes to us from Faithway Christian in Burton, Michigan. She is a no nonsense intellegent player who loves the game of soccer. She is comfortable with the ball at her feet and is up for any challenge. On her high school team, Jessica was a quiet but confident leader on the field. In the attack, most balls are played through Jessica. In transition, she always worked hard in getting back to help in defense. She is an accomplished scholar earning a top academic scholarship to Rochester College. I believe with Jessica's ability, she has all the tools to have a successful collegiate career."
