Rochester Hills, Mich.- Rochester College showed why they are ranked number one in the USCAA Coach's poll, beating Lambton College 81-32. From the tip to the final buzzer, the Warriors controlled the game on the way to their 23rd win this season.

Ricky Doran (Clinton Twp.,MI/Chippewa Valley) led the Warriors with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Rochester College's scoring was spread out well, with four scorers in double digits. Dramell Hogan (Detroit, MI/Walled Lake Western), Stephan Henning (Beloit, WI/Rochester), and Torey Throop (Vestaburg, MI./Kirtland CC) each had 11 points. The Warriors had 10 different scorers throughout the game. Rochester College shot over 50% from the floor as a team, and out rebounded the Lions 48-31.

Victor McGinnis' 11 points led all scorers for Lambton College, but was 7 points below his season average. Mike Lucier led Lambton College with 5 rebounds. The Lions struggled shooting, hitting 23% from the floor and 19% from three.

Rochester College got out to a big lead early and never let it go. They scored the games first 15 points. The Warriors took a 45-15 lead to half. Henning and Throop came out in the second hitting from three. The Warriors started the second half 5-5 from the floor as a team on their way to a 81-32 final.

Rochester College improves to 23-7 after last night's (Feb. 14) win, and stay perfect at home (12-0). The Warriors finish their regular season at Great Lakes Christian College on Feb. 21. Tip is set for 7PM. Rochester College has won the previous two meetings with Great Lakes Christian College this season, 64-32 and 84-45.
