
ROCHESTER HILLS, MICH.- Nicole Heim chooses Rochester College to continue her basketball career.
Heim comes to Rochester College after two seasons at St. Clair Community College. Under Coach Mike Groulx, Heim was named an All-League Honorable Mention as a freshman and 2nd Team All-League as a sophomore. Along with being All-League her sophomore season, Heim was named 1st Team All-Defensive Team and the Regional Tournament MVP. She played her high school basketball at Almont High School in Almont, MI. While at Almont, she was a three-sport varsity athlete in track and field, softball, and basketball. She was apart of 3 Blue Water Area Conference (BWAC) titles and 2 District Championship teams. As a sophomore in high school, she was an honorable mention to the All-League team. In her junior and senior seasons, Heim was awarded All-County and All-League.
"Nikki comes to us after playing 2 seasons at St. Clair County Community College. We expect her to step right in and fill a huge role both offensively and defensively on the wing for us," Said Head Coach Eric Sims. "Her ability to score and defend will be a huge addition to our program."
