It was a long trip home to Ann Arbor for the Cardinals of Concordia University after being defeated for the 9th straight set pushing the Rochester College Warrior's volleyball team record to 25-21. The Warriors jumped right out of the gate winning set one 25-16. The Cardinals fought hard in set two (25-23) and three (27-25) but fell short to the number 4 ranked Warriors.
In front of a full capacity crowd for Senior Night, Head Coach
David Crump's team played much to his liking. "Last season we won one of three versus Concordia. To come out this season and win three straight sweeps against them shows that our program is getting stronger and better," Coach Crump said in his post game interview.
The Warriors head to Spalding University in Kentucky for the USCAA National Championship on Thursday to play tournament the tournament host at 1:00pm. Check back for updates and scores.
