This season marks Coach Bissett's sixth year as the Head Golf Coach at Rochester College. Bissett has led the Men's Golf team to two USCAA National Championship Titles in 2009 and 2010. This year will be Bissett's 16th year coaching at the high school and college levels.

Coach Bissett graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1997 with a degree in broadcast journalism.  Soon after graduating, he served two years (1997-99) as a volunteer assistant men's basketball coach at Texas Lutheran University where he helped the team to records of 19-8 and 17-10 and two conference titles.

He then came to Michigan as an assistant men's basketball coach at St. Mary's College in Orchard Lake, MI from 1999-2002.  While at St. Mary's, he helped guide the Eagles to two national tournament appearances.  In April of 2002 he joined the Kent State University coaching staff as the men's basketball administrative assistant.  He did not stay there long as he left in August to coach with Klint Pleasant at Abilene Christian University where he stayed from 2002-2005.

Most recently, he was a high school teacher and coach at Orchard Lake St. Mary's Preparatory in Orchard Lake, MI from 2005-2007.  There Clayton taught sophomore English and helped guide the junior varsity football and baseball teams to first place finishes in the Catholic League and guided the boys' junior varsity basketball team to a Catholic League playoff appearance.

Clayton is also the assistant athletic director and assists Coach Klint Pleasant with administrative details.  Clayton is married to Dianna (Sorentino) of Rochester Hills, MI and has a son, Benjamin.
