If the game situation calls for it, Beaudoin can be seen leaning out, offering his glasses to referees as they run down the floor. If his voice goes out, he starts waving a towel. He is a master motivator. Beaudoin's connection to the basketball program began during the ‘83-‘84 season, and it continued as his son, Dan, played on Rochester's 1988 squad on his way to becoming College valedictorian. Beaudoin, who retired as Lieutenant from the Madison Heights Fire Department in 1996, and his wife, Mary Ellen, are the parents of two other children and the grandparents of four.

"This is George's 28th year with our program. George is respected and loved by every young man who has worn the Warrior's uniform. One of our team theme is "being a servant" No one gives as much to others as George. There is no way I can explain the excitement and energy George brings to practice every day.
