Sandy Peters

Assistant Coach

2nd Season

Sandy Peters has been around baseball in the coaching ranks for over 30 years; 20 years as a head varsity baseball coach, three as a college coach, and seven as a Federation coach. He has experience coaching boys and young men from the age of 11 to players in their 20's. Peters has led all of his teams to winning records and two different teams to a State Finals appearance.

As a high school coach, Peters has accumulated over 150 victories and recieved many honors including Coach of the Year in the State of Michigan and Catholic League Coaches Association Coach of the Year twice. Peters has developed many players on to Division I schools to further their carriers as well as having two pitchers and one infielder drafted by Major League Baseball. Peters has been selected to speak at Baseball Clinics as well as the State of Michigan High School Coaches Clinic by his peers.

Coach Ackerman's thoughts:
